The Petal Arts Council will be hosting an out of this world camp at the Petal Civic Center on July 7-10 with a performance the night of the 10th. VOLUNTEERS(teenager and adults) AND PARTICIPANTS(ages 9-12) REGISTER HERE.

About the event
Kids, ages 9-12, will explore the far reaches of the galaxy as they create brand new planets and become the aliens living on them.
They will get to learn about our Solar system, Outer Space and legendary astronauts past and present.
They will work in groups representing their unique planet building their props, costumes and scenes with their Volunteer Astronaut Leaders.
Camp will run 1pm-5pm Monday-Wednesday and 1pm-7pm on Thursday with the performance starting at 6pm.

Explorer (Child Ages 9-12)

Volunteer
Build set pieces, create props and be part of the production as actors and stage crew. Interact with kids(ages 9-12) in groups, creating new alien planets and their inhabitants for our Space Explorers! Planning and building day on June 17th, 8am-4pm for all volunteers at the Petal Civic Center. Food will be provided. Receive estimated total of 35 service hours
