Photography with Don Hill

Throughout the Saturdays of July, photography enthusiasts embarked on a transformative journey at the Calvary Baptist Church, where the Petal Arts Council hosted a comprehensive four-session Photography Class led by award-winning photographer Don Hill. Guided by Don's expertise, participants delved into the art of photography, mastering the basics, learning to think through their cameras, and grasping fundamental camera operations. The class also honed participants' compositional skills and fostered an environment of critique and shared growth. As the month drew to a close, attendees left not only with enhanced technical knowledge but also a deeper appreciation for photography's storytelling potential and the connections forged with fellow enthusiasts.
