You are welcome to sketch your design without using the provided template, but clearly indicate the front, back, and sides on your sketch.

Please detail your art-related education, public exhibitions, and notable recognitions.

Please give a detailed plan and cost estimate of what you will do and need to complete the project.

The artist is responsible for cleaning and prepping the art site with recommended cleaning products for removing tape, goo, and surface dirt.

The artist will receive basic paint, primer and UV protectant clear-coat for the job. The artist is responsible for providing their own brushes, tools, ladders, drop cloths, water bottles, snacks, umbrellas, tent, travel, etc. to complete the art project- including anything other than basic paint needs, which will have a monetary cap for each art site.

The area around the art site will remain clean. Concrete under the utility box will NOT be painted.

Consideration in the design will be made for a PAC logo sticker and a Sherwin Williams logo sticker to be applied to the FRONT of the utility box.

A UV protection clear coat must be applied by the artist. This product will be provided by the Petal Arts Council.

Artist Rate (per utility box): $6 per square foot. Payment will not be given until the final day of the stated work period, and a final walk-through is made to ensure specifications have been followed.

I acknowledge that all designs and uploaded artwork samples are original to the artist's name on the application, and I am at least 18 years old OR have included the name of the responsible adult over 18 who will be with me at all times at the art site.

Artist submissions will be reviewed by a committee and chosen artists will be contacted for further discussion and asked to sign a contract specifying all of the details pertaining to the particular art site in question.
