Immerse Yourself in the World of "Painting with Paper" with Becky Fortenberry at Petal Civic Center

The Petal Arts Council is excited to present an extraordinary artistic opportunity with the upcoming "Painting with Paper" workshop, led by the talented artist Becky Fortenberry. On September 9th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, participants will gather at the Petal Civic Center Magnolia Room to explore the innovative technique of "painting with paper." Under the expert guidance of Becky Fortenberry, attendees will learn to transform ordinary pieces of paper into captivating collages that resemble traditional paintings. Using magazine strips, acrylic gloss gel medium, and paint brushes, participants will uncover the art of manipulating paper to craft intricate designs, including a simple apple shape, and master techniques for layered backgrounds.
